Six months ago I was in the Hope House recovery program. Tonight I cooked dinner for 80 of my neighbors. I cried twice making chili. Life is wild.
I'll be there Saturday.

Had my first family meeting in Portuguese today. Brazilian couple, three kids, brand-new to Spokane. They walked in terrified. They walked out with a furniture delivery scheduled and tears of relief.
Sent a donation. Worth every dollar.

PRESS: Spokesman-Review covered our ramp-building program today. Quote of the day (from James, our retired-carpenter-turned-ramp-builder): 'Retirement is for people who've run out of purpose.' 🔥

Pallet jack vs. me. Me vs. a 1,200-pound dairy shipment at 6:45am. We both won. She drinks her oat milk with dignity.

Personal note: today is five years since we opened Hope Foundation's doors. We had one volunteer, a folding table, and $1,800. Today we have 140 volunteers, four buildings, and a budget most of you would think was a typo. Only God.

Anyone know a free kids' dental clinic that speaks Spanish? A mom I'm working with has three kids, no insurance, youngest (4) hasn't seen a dentist ever. DM me.

Shoutout to Costco Spokane Valley — they donated 1,400 pounds of produce that was going to be thrown out. Drivers: we need cold-chain volunteers for next Tuesday pickup.
